PALM SPRINGS, CA

Oh Palm Springs. For those who’ve been following me on Instagram for a while now, you are well aware of my love for Palm Springs. My first visit to this SoCal oasis completely changed my life. I have always been into architecture and design but was never able to identify what my aesthetic was, until Palm Springs. The minimalist (sometimes cold) lines of Mid-Century designs against the warm colors of the desert… I literally cried when I first laid eyes on the beautiful homes, motels and even banks (lol!). It was like a well preserved time capsule.

london, england

When Air Transat asked me to pick a European destination and write about it, I didn’t have to think twice: London baby! I fell in love with the diversity, the different cultures, the colorful neigborhoods, the vintage shops (oh the vintage shops… so good!) and of course, the vegan scene!

tulum, mexico

I love Mexico, can you tell? What can I say about Tulum… Did I get an authentic Mexican experience there? Not quite. Would I go back to Tulum? Oh, absolutely! First of all, it’s paradise for vegans and yoga aficionados. If you’re into boho vibes you will probably fall in love with every single hotel and restaurant in town. Many of the world’s most renowned chefs have opened restaurants along the beach, making it a great destination for foodies as well.

mexico city, mexico

What an impromptu trip that was! The opportunity to meet up with friends in Mexico City, for 2 days, presented itself so obviously, I said yes. Although I didn’t get to see much, I saw enough to know that I really enjoyed that bustling metropolis and I cannot wait to go back and spend more time to explore some of the gorgeous architecture, colorful designs, unique art galleries and local markets for gems.

los cabos, mexico

This was my second visit to Los Cabos and it did not disappoint - it was just as dreamy as the first time. This time, it was actually even better because I knew what I was looking for and where to get it. Sitting by myself on the beach every morning, watching the sun rise behind El Arco, while everyone else is asleep, is something I will remember forever. Just like the first time, I truly enjoyed strolling the adorable streets of San Jose Del Cabo’s Centro Historico. Cute cafes, vegan restaurants and beautiful local art galleries lines the cobble stone streets.

los angeles, ca

Some have fantasies of Los Angeles based on classic movies and TV shows. I, on the other hand, associate LA with music. I think of Venice Beach when I listen to the Doors. I picture myself cruising down Sunset when Guns’N’Roses plays. In my mind, Laurel Canyon is synonymous with The Mamas & The Papas. And although not quite LA, listening to CCR while driving through the windmills near Palm Springs is an absolute must. Beyond music, Los Angeles is also my go-to city for vintage shopping, amazing vegan food, outdoor activities and drool worthy hotels.
